A thirteen minute interview with Marc Montgomery of Radio-Canada International.

RCI host Marc Montgomery interviewed me when Miss Montreal came out — and got me to admit I had never fired a handgun, an untenable position I have since rectified.

In Miss Montreal, private eye Jonah Geller goes back to his roots in the Canadian city of Montreal.

Gritty, and with its ethnic and linguistic tensions kept just off the boil, Montreal makes a great setting for a grisly murder, with international connections.

Mr Shrier talks about the writing process, the setting of the book in this Canadian city, the research involved (along with a little surprising secret, especially for a crime writer), and other aspects of the detective series.

And we have one copy of the book to give away, as well. Listen to the interview for a chance to get this most interesting and entertaining new novel.

Cheers, Marc
